Plenty of advice are done to optimize listings: publish great photos, provide a full description, a fair pricing… but few are made to target foreign buyers specifically.

Here are 5 secrets to optimize your property listings to catch foreign buyers attention:

1. Provide information about the region and activities around

It is usual to provide some information about the direct surroundings. Impersonating a foreign buyer and think about what you would do in this area. It worth considering more information about leisure activities around. A foreign buyer may be interested if a golf in the neighborhoods, same for beaches, surf spots and so on.

2. Say which languages you are speaking

Foreign buyers may have a limited of understanding of local language, if any. Saying you can serve them in their own language, or one there are up to speak, will be a great point of differentiation. They will feel more confident to contact you, and so you may have better conversion rate on your listings.

3. Sell the dream

Foreign buyers may have an idealistic vision of the region or town they are looking for. You can play with it, add an image of the beautiful beach in the surroundings, highlight the swimming pool with the opportunity to use it all year round, mention the view on specific building, describe a room as a guest room to welcome friends for the week-ends and so-on.

4. Publish your listings on foreign platforms

Foreign buyers may not know the local real estate platforms and could search on their local websites. Define your targeted audience and learn which platform is poplar in their home country.
